Teen Held Against Will, 6th Grader Threatened

The following incidents were provided by the Roswell Police Department; they do not indicate an admittance of guilt or conviction.

-A teenager called after an aquaintance dragged her against her will to a darkened playground in the .

The struggle between the 19-year-old female victim and her 20-year-old male attacker occurred when the victim told the male that it was beginning to get dark and she needed to go home to help her mother. According to the police report, the man became aggressive and dragged her in a bear hug down a hill and across a road toward an empty playground while she fought and screamed for help.

Police reported the girl was fighting tears, appeared diseveled and had fresh scapes consistent with her story. She told them she feared if she hadn't broken free, the man would have raped her.

Police located and arrested the male for false imprisonment and simple battery.

-After teaching a class at , a Roswell police officer met with the head of the school. The principal showed the officer a death threat found by a sixth grade student in his locker.

Written in blue ink, the note said: "I'll Murder You!"

In an attempt to end potential bullying of the student, the school assembled students and the officer told them to report anything they might know about the incident to school staff or the police. The next day Atlanta Academy staff told police that the student who had put the note in the locker had been identified and they had dealt with the situation.
