Two Arrested in CVS Pharmacy Armed Robbery

The CVS Pharmacy at 8430 Holcomb Bridge Road in Roswell was held up Sunday evening.

Two men have been arrested and charged in connection with the armed robbery of a national drug store chain in Roswell.

Roswell detectives arrested Terrell Alexander Rome, 27, and Darnell Alonzo Douglas, 22, and charged with armed robbery of CVS Pharmacy at 8430 Holcomb Bridge Road. 

At around 10 p.m. Sunday, May 4, two victims said a man came into the business and "brandished a firearm," according to an incident report from the Roswell Police Department.  

The man demanded money and left the establishment once he received about the cash.

About $5,000 was taken from the store's registers and safe, according to the report. 

"After a spending many hours investigating this case," Roswell detectives arrested both men. 

Rome was apprehended late Monday night while Douglas was arrested early Tuesday morning. They both face one count each of armed robbery and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Additionally, Rome has been charged with possession of cocaine and Douglas with possession of marijuana.

Both remain at the Fulton County Jail.
