UGA Legend, Steelers Champ Verron Haynes Storms Little League Field

The former football player was allegedly upset over his son being thrown out of a youth football game in Alpharetta.

According to wsbtv.com, former UGA football star and Roswell resident Verron Haynes has been banned from coaching or attending his third-grade son's football games after an altercation with a referee.

The Saturday, Sept. 29, incident happened during a game at Alpharetta's North Park, during which Haynes' son allegedly punched another player and was kicked out of the game. Upset by the call, Haynes stormed the field.

A report obtained by wsbtv.com said Haynes was "restrained by other coaches and officials and was removed from the area."
