2012 Primary: Fulton County Results Are In

TSPLOST, sheriff, tax commissioner were all on Tuesday's ballot.

Earlier on election day was low.

TSPLOST struggled in counties throughout the metro Atlanta region as results trickled in Tuesday night and in the end, "No" had 52.50 of the vote.

"I sincerely hope the legislature can take the right lessons from this result, and begin moving toward a full reform of GDOT with an elected GDOT Board and development of a coherent transportation plan that will facilitate movement from origin to destination for all of us in the most cost-effective way possible" Patch blogger Mike Lowry told Roswell Patch.

After winning her race against challenger Rob Goodman with a total of 54.76 percent of the vote, Fulton County School Board Member Linda Schultz told Roswell Patch, she's already looking to the future.

"I would like to thank the voters of District 1 for their continued support," she said. "I look forward to resuming our work of improving academic achievement, expanding educational opportunities and maintaining a strong fiscal policy."

Here are the results in some of the most important races and issues in Roswell:
