Beware of Parking Rules During PGA Tournament

Johns Creek voted to set an ordinance to help homeowners near the Atlanta Athletic Club during the PGA Championship in August.

According to City Attorney Bill Riley, letters were sent to homeowners associations in affected neighborhoods, with "zero negative responses."

Signs warning of the no parking rules will be posted on the streets on Aug. 7, and violators will be punished under Section 1-7 of the City Code, which allows for fines up to $1,000.
