Candidates Pedal Politics in Roswell

Roswell City Council candidates met and spoke to Bike Roswell! at Founders Hall Wednesday night.

Roswell City Council candidates are, not surprisingly, pro-bicycling as a sport and potential revenue source for they city, they each conveyed during a forum at Wednesday evening.

Bike Roswell!, an organization which promotes cycling and quality of life issues in Roswell, invited all 10 candidates out for an evening of Hors d’oeuvres, drinks and, of course, politics.

After a brief presentation by Eric Broadwell, president of Bike Roswell!, on issues near and dear to the organization's mission, such as implementing continued measures to make Roswell even more bicycle-friendly and ways to help local residents fight a sedentary lifestyle. Most candidates also expounded somewhat on how those issues weighed into other areas of need within the city.
