City of Roswell Back in Business Friday

City facilities are set to re-open for normal business hours.

The sunshine got to work on melting the ice on Thursday and now the Roswell city government is ready to get back to work.

Now that the winter storm is over, Roswell city facilities are set to re-open for normal business hours on Friday. Of course, Roswell Department of Transportation employees and public safety personnel have been hard at work all week in helping to keep the city streets safe and clear.

The City of Roswell will begin garbage and curbside recycling collection Friday if road conditions allow and continue collection over the weekend. Yard waste collection will begin again starting next week. Residents are encouraged to place containers out until they are collected.

And while all Recreation & Parks classes and programs scheduled before 12 p.m., Friday have been canceled, the recreational facilities will open for normal operating hours.
