Dippolito Intends to Follow Through on Campaign Promises

Roswell City Council Post 1 member Rich Dippolito has specific plans for helping Roswell's economy, transportation and redevelopment needs.

With a strong showing of support at the polls last week, Rich Dippolito found his place back up on the dias last night at the Roswell City Council meeting, newly re-elected to the Post 1 seat.

"I would like to thank the voters of Roswell and so many wonderful volunteers for your support. This campaign was truly a team effort," he said, reserving a special thanks for his wife, Kelly, "who worked tirelessly and was an inspiration throughout the campaign."

Dippolito said that over the next four years he's committed to strengthening the local economy, improving transportation and promoting redevelopment.

"I will support efforts to implement the new Economic Development Plan and to create a branding and marketing strategy," he told Roswell Patch of thoughts on improving the local economy.

He also plans to "champion projects like the Historic Gateway and the Holcomb Bridge Corridor Study that will provide considerable safety enhancements and congestion relief for these corridors," he said.

He believes redevelopment will come to Roswell with improvements to local infrastructure. Dippolito said he will support the roadway improvements, water and sewer upgrades that will lead to redevelopment.

"I appreciate your continued support and I look forward to serving you and our community for another four years," he said.
