AAUW, North Fulton branch, welcomes State Senator Albers. He is expected to talk about Georgia’s public education system, including financial concerns. Discussions regarding the state budget, creating jobs, rebuilding and enhancing our transportation infrastructure and resolving our water shortage are anticipated. Guests are welcome and there will be lots of time for questions from the audience. Senator Albers represents Senate District 56, located in North Fulton County, covering all of Roswell and parts of the cities of Sandy Springs, Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Milton and Mountain Park. He serves in the legislature as a Deputy Whip. He is also Vice Chairman of the Science & Technology and Public Safety committees, in addition to being a member of the Economic Development, Education, and Ethics committees.
