Final Holcomb Bridge Road Corridor Study Meeting Scheduled

Your final chance for input on the project will be June 26 at 5 p.m.

The will hold its final public information open house on the Holcomb Bridge Road Corridor Study next week.

City staff will present the final project recommendations for the Holcomb Bridge Road and State Route 400 interchange study area, including the preferred interchange concept, project cost estimates and project prioritization.

The HBR Corridor Study is a multi-modal planning study that has developed transportation improvement concepts and recommendations to address traffic congestion in both the short-term and the long-term. The study has also developed bicycle and pedestrian improvements, as well as interchange beautification and streetscape concepts. Finally, the study seeks to encourage economic redevelopment in the area.

The study area extends along Holcomb Bridge Road (State Route 140) from Warsaw Road to Holcomb Woods Parkway and includes the interchange with State Route 400. The study builds upon the and the Big Creek Bridge Road Study completed in 2010.

Recommended projects may be implemented in the short, medium and long term, as funding is identified.

The meeting is set to take place, Tuesday, June 26 from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at the , 909 Holcomb Bridge Road in Roswell. As part of the outreach for this study, the city wants to hear from the public.
