'Food Truck Weekends' Comes to Roswell

The Food Movement will set up food trucks each Saturday and Sunday beginning July 20 at Don White Park.

Roswell residents looking for more eating options on the weekends will soon have several food trucks to choose from.

Roswell River Food Trucks Weekends will make its debut on Saturday July 20 at Don White Park. Starting that weekend and through the fall, Atlanta's most popular food trucks will set up shop at the park along the banks of the Chattahoochee River.

The park is located at 702 Riverside Road.

The event is sponsored by the Roswell Recreation, Parks, Historic & Cultural Affairs Department and is being coordinated by The Food Movement, an Atlanta food truck company.

Food trucks will be at the park between 11 a.m. and dusk each Saturday and Sunday. Food trucks such as Pressed For Time, Hail Caesar, Champion Cheesesteaks, Spiedie Zone, Masala Fresh and Vintage Frozen Custard are all slated to make appearances.

“Don White Park will be the most scenic food truck venue in the entire Atlanta region,” said Greg Gordon, partner at The Food Movement. “We can’t wait to get there and start serving healthy and tasty ‘Street Food’ to everyone in the area.”
