Frazier Street Name Change to Be Discussed

A continuing discussion on renaming Frazier Street is on the agenda of the Roswell Community Development and Transportation Committee meeting Wednesday morning. 

The meeting (see first attached PDF for a summary of the full agenda) begins at 8 a.m. in Room 200B of City Hall, 38 Hill Street. 

The committee -- which is comprised of the Mayor and full City Council -- discussed the matter in July (page 22 of the minutes on second attached PDF) and instructed the city to begin the renaming process by contacting affected property owners. 

Frazier Street will soon be undergoing a major transformation with the demolition of existing apartments to make way for the tentatively-titled Canton Street City Walk luxury complex, which the council approved in May. 

Also on Wednesday's agenda, the committee will consider a resolution supporting the MARTA North Line Alternatives Analysis. The transit agency recently held a public meeting in Alpharetta seeking feedback on possible transit improvements in the North Fulton area.
