Fulton Health Centers Offer Flu Shots

Low-cost vaccinations are available at two locations near Roswell.

The Fulton County Department of Health and Wellness is providing flu vaccines at six centers from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Annual vaccinations are recommended for all persons aged 6 months and older. Children aged 6 months through 8 years require 2 doses of influenza vaccine (administered a minimum of 4 weeks apart) during their first season of vaccination if they did not receive or cannot verify receiving the vaccine last year (2012-2013).

Children in this age group who received at least one verifiable flu vaccination last year will need only one dose this season.
