Fulton to Host Housing Tweet Chat Today at Noon

North Fulton's representative on the Fulton County Board of Commissioners, Liz Hausmann, will host a foreclosure prevention tweet session today.

Thousands of Fulton County households are facing threat of foreclosure. But, Fulton County Commissioner Liz Hausmann, District 3, hopes to help prevent as many as possible.

Today, Thursday, June 9, from noon to 1 p.m., residents can tweet in their questions about foreclosure prevention, loan modification and other critical housing issues to Hausmann and a Fulton County housing counselor. The pair will be answering residents’ questions via Fulton County's official Twitter feed live. 

In addition to questions related to foreclosure prevention, residents can get their questions answered about affordable housing, down payment assistance and other programs.

Residents seeking additional information on foreclosure issues are encouraged to attend Fulton County's Foreclosure Prevention Fair, which was also initiated by Hausmann. The fair takes place this Saturday, June 11, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Alpharetta High School at 3595 Webb Bridge Road.
