Fulton Voter Registration Deadline Approaching

You have until Oct. 7 to be eligible to cast a ballot in the Roswell municipal elections in November.

If you haven't registered to vote for the Nov. 5 elections in Roswell, you have until Oct. 7 to do so. 

Mayor Jere Wood is on the ballot and is unopposed, while three sitting City Council members have opposition:

  • Incumbent Kent Igleheart faces Roswell Planning Commission co-chairman Harvey Smith in Post 4;
  • Post 5 council member Jerry Orlans is being challenged by Eric Schumacher;
  • Citizen activist Kendra Myers Cox is running against Post 6 incumbent Nancy Diamond.

The deadline to register is at 5 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 7, and can be completed at one of three Fulton County offices:

  • Fulton County Registration and Elections Main Office, 130 Peachtree St, SW, Atlanta;
  • Fulton County North Service Center Office, 7741 Roswell Road, Atlanta;
  • Fulton County South Service Center Office, 5600 Stonewall Tell Road, College Park.

Voter registration forms are also available by downloading a postage-paid voter registration application from the Georgia Secretary of State website, and all branches of the Atlanta-Fulton County Public Library.

The form is also available for download at www.fultonelections.com.

Registered voters also can check their information by logging into My Voter Page at http://mvp.sos.state.ga.us/.
