Georgia Senate Passes Bill Requiring Mandatory Reporting of Suspected Child Abuse

"The Georgia Senate passed several key pieces of legislation in the final days of the session to increase economic development for Georgia and fulfill the Senate Majority Caucus priorities.

"[Among the bill passed by] the Senate last week included my bill, Senate Bill 292, which ensures accountability and responsibility for welfare recipients. This will require a mandatory drug test and assure we're giving a hand up and not a handout."
