Hausmann Establishes Fulton Budget Committee

Fulton County Commissioner Liz Hausmann and members of the newly formed District 3 Budget Committee met at the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce to discuss ideas on how to confront an upcoming Fulton County budget shortfall that will total at least $20 million. Committee members will focus on areas such as: criminal justice, internal services, health/human Services and economic development.

“I value this citizen input, and am honored that such an esteemed group agreed to serve on our budget committee. I look forward to their respective ideas as we work toward a fiscally conservative solution to fill the budget deficit,” said Hausmann, a Johns Creek resident. 

Serving on the District 3 Budget Committee are: City Council Member Nancy Diamond (), City Council Member Karen Richardson (Johns Creek), City Council Member Karen Thurman (Milton), City Council Member (Alpharetta) Chris Owens, Bernie Tokarz, Marie Garrett, Freda Hardage, Michael Fitzgerald and Kim Poole.
