Imagine Roswell 2030 to Hold East Roswell Meeting

Another Imagine Roswell 2030 meeting to be held at the end of April.

Though Roswell has already had months of gathering public input on the Imagine Roswell 2030 plan, the city will host another community meeting on the east side of town, Wednesday, April 27, from 6:30-8 p.m. at the East Roswell Community Center.

In order to update its 2030 Comprehensive Plan, the city needs input from the community. Comprehensive plans are important to direct the city on where and how it should focus its staff and finances as well as potential development and redevelopment priorities. A comprehensive plan will provide Roswell with a vision for the future – how we, as a community, want to grow and mature. The plan will also provide direction, tools and strategies so that future development will reflect our shared values and long-term goals for a vibrant, thriving Roswell, according to a statement sent out by the city.

Alice Wakefield, the director of community development for Roswell, has said that input from the local residents who’ve already shared their ideas are assuring. But now, the city wants to make sure residents on the east side of 400 have also had their fair shot at input.
