Citizens can learn how to protect themselves against all kinds of scams when Fulton County hosts an information session on Aug. 15.
The session will provide information on how to identify, prevent and report fraudulent schemes involving telemarketing, reverse mortgages, healthcare/health insurance and home and auto repair.
The one-hour program on Thursday, Aug. 15, will be held at North Fulton Community Charities, 11270 Elkins Road, Roswell, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. and is sponsored by the county's Housing & Human Services Department, Office of Housing and Community Development.
