Motorists Warned to Avoid Section of Mansell Road

A GDOT contractor will be working on traffic signals from Kingswood to North Point Parkway.

Avoid Mansell Road between Kingswood Road and North Point Parkway on Tuesday and Wednesday while a contractor works on traffic signals.

The city of Alpharetta announced in a news release that a Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) contractor will be working on traffic signals along Mansell Road between Kingswood Road and North Point Parkway between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Expect moderate to heavy traffic delays in and around the affected area–which stretches from both sides of GA 400–during these times.

Lanes will be closed periodically at each intersection. Occasional signal outages will require police officers to direct and control intersection traffic.
