Nighttime Lane Closures along Alpharetta Street

Roswell will begin night paving on the Highway 9/Holcomb Bridge intersection to make improvements.

The intersection of Highway 9 and Holcomb Bridge Road will begin a scheduled facelift tonight, Thursday, Sept. 15.

As part of the Midtown Streetscape project, the Georgia Department of Transportation contractor will be paving the road from Commerce Parkway to Clara Drive, south of Holcomb Bridge Road. The two-day project will install textured asphalt in the center turn lane, effectively closing the inside lane along Alpharetta Street.

The lane will be open by 5 a.m. each day. Roswell city staff is asking motorists to slow down and be alert for workers in the area.
