Price Believes in Working Toward Comprehensive Plan Achievements

Roswell City Council member Betty Price looks forward to her first full term.

Now that she's been re-elected to the Roswell City Council Council, Post 3 council member Betty Price sets her sights on improving Roswell's transportation services and business community.

"I am delighted to have been re-elected for my first full term and thank the voters and supporters for their confidence in me," she told Roswell Patch.

While she waits on Mayor Jere Wood to appoint her as a liaison to a specific city department, Price knows much of her work with the city will focus on making a reality.

"We will continue to facilitate better traffic patterns, add streetscapes and attract new businesses," she said. "Vickery Creek and the Chattahoochee River will get some much needed attention with upgrades to the old machine shop, improvements to the trail system and a multi-use trail across the Chattahoochee River."

She also hopes to see a new east Roswell fire station built soon, plans to redevelop the northwest and southern quadrants of the city and the rewriting of ordinances over her next four years on council.
