Radio Tower Leases, Paving List, Budget Amendments on Roswell Council Agenda

A work session on the Unified Development Code will start at 5:30 p.m. Monday, followed by the regular meeting at 7.

Two lease agreements with the North Fulton Regional Radio System Authority are on the agenda of Monday's Roswell Mayor & Council meeting.

The meeting begins at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers of City Hall, 38 Hill Street. It will be preceded at 5:30 p.m. by a work session on the proposed Unified Development Code in Room 220 of City Hall (Roswell Patch story here).

See the attached PDFs for agenda summaries for both meetings.

The lease agreements call for the newly organized authority to pay the city $30,000 annually for use of city-owned public safety radio towers on Fouts Road and Hembree Road (in $2,500 monthly payments).

The proposed 2014 paving list also in on the council agenda (see attached PDF), and it includes work on 28 mostly residential streets. The longest segment is 5,625 feet on Devereaux Chase between Woodstock Road North and Woodstock Road South.

A mid-year budget amendment also on the agenda, and it would increase the fiscal year 2014 approved revenue budget by $261,666 and increase the FY 2014 approved expenditure budget by $335,455.

See the attached PDF for details.
