Roswell Accepts Community Development Block Grant Program Applications

The Community Development Block Grant program provides Roswell with approximately $400,000 to $500,000 annually for projects that primarily benefit low to moderate income populations.

Roswell will soon decide how it should spend expected federal grant money to benefit local non-profits and governmental agencies within the city limits.

City staff will accept applications for the Community Development Block Grant Program until July 22. Nonprofit and governmental agencies that serve low - and moderate - income citizens within Roswell are eligible to apply for funding. The money will be awarded based upon the applicant's ability to create viable communities through decent housing, a suitable living environment, and opportunities to expand economic opportunities primarily for those who make a low-to-moderate income.

Applications and more information can be found on the city’s website or by calling 770-594-6296 or emailing CDBG@roswellgov.com.
