Roswell Advanced Voting Starts Monday

Citizens can cast their ballots ahead of time through Nov. 1.

Roswell City Hall will be open for advanced voting in municipal elections starting Monday. 

Advanced voting takes place Monday-Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., through Friday, Nov. 1, in Room 220 of City Hall, 38 Hill Street. 

The mayor and three city council members are on the ballot in the Nov. 5 elections. There will be no voting on Monday, Nov. 4. 

Mayor Jere Wood is running unopposed. 

Post 4 council member Kent Igleheart is being opposed by Harvey Smith.

Post 5 council member Jerry Orlans is being challenged by Eric Schumacher.

Post 6 council member Nancy Diamond will face Kendra Myers Cox. 

Two candidates forums have been scheduled thus far, by the Roswell Woman's Club on Oct. 22 and by RoswellNEXT on Oct. 29.
