Roswell Council Committees to Meet Tuesday

Both meetings take place later in the day in Room 220.

Two standing committees of the Roswell Mayor & Council will meet on Tuesday.

At 5 p.m., the Administration, Finance, Recreation and Parks Committee will convene in Room 220 of City Hall, 38 Hill Street.

Among the items on the agenda (see attached PDF) is a discussion about the sale and serving of alcohol at special events on city property.

Other proposals include a supplemental lease agreement with the Georgia Municipal Association for two Horton Fire Rescue Trucks, and an agreement with PNC Bank for a free-standing ATM in City Hall.

After the conclusion of that meeting, the council's Public Safety and Public Works Committee will meet, also in Room 220.

That meeting agenda (attached PDF) includes a proposal for the purchase of a residential garbage truck for nearly $150,000 and a commercial garbage truck totalling $222,000.

The only other public meeting in Roswell this week is that of the Historic Preservation Committee, which meets Wednesday at 8 a.m. in Room 220.

That meeting will include a discussion the first draft of the Unified Development Code design guidelines.
