Roswell Council Special UDC Work Session Postponed to Monday

Winter Storm Leon also postponed Wednesday's scheduled Community Development and Transportation Committee Meeting to Monday.

After this month's initial vote on the proposed Unified Development Code, the Roswell Mayor & Council was scheduled to hold a special called work session on the subject this past Wednesday.

Winter Storm Leon had other ideas, though. The weather system that paralyzed much of metro Atlanta caused the work session to be postponed until Monday, Feb. 3.

The session is set to begin at 5 p.m. in Room 220 of City Hall, 38 Hill Street.

The agenda can be found here

The council voted 4-2 to adopt the First Reading of the UDC (draft proposal here). Council members Kent Igleheart and Betty Price said they wanted more information and answers to questions as some 50 amendments were presented.

Formal adoption could come as soon as sometime next month.

Wednesday's Community Development and Transportation Committee Meeting was also postponed to Monday, Feb. 3, and will begin at 8 a.m., in Room 220 at City Hall.
