Roswell High School Student Interns for State Senator

State Sen. John Albers, of Roswell, has taken on three new interns, including a Roswell High School senior.

Roswell High School student Brendan Starr is foregoing the usual summer job to help run the world, or at least the state. Starr and two other students are spending their summers interning for state Sen. John Albers (R-Roswell).

Starr, the only high school student to intern in Albers' office this summer, joins Paul Oh and Erin Hanson to help the senator with various tasks around the office including research, community events and meetings with state leaders.

“I’m committed to working with high school and college students, giving them a unique learning opportunity and helping them to make a difference in their state government,” said Sen. Albers. “It’s a joy to work with Brendan, Paul and Erin. They are hard-working and a definite asset to my team.”
