Updated: Roswell Household Garbage Collection Delayed

The Sanitation Department will continue to monitor the weather situation and provide updates as they become available.

Update: Thursday, 9:30 a.m. from the City of Roswell:

Due to continued winter weather conditions, household garbage and recycling collection is suspended for today, Thursday, February 13. Crews will start tomorrow, weather conditions permitting, with Wednesday routes and will try to complete Thursday and Friday routes over the weekend.   

Residents are encouraged to place containers out, if it is safe, and leave them out until collected. The Sanitation Department will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as they become available.

From the City of Roswell:

Due to winter weather conditions, the City of Roswell has suspended garbage, recycling and yard waste collection for Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014, until mid-day on Thursday, Feb. 13—or as soon as conditions permit.

Residents with pickups regularly scheduled on Wednesdays may put their garbage/recycling at the curb, and it will be collected as soon as possible after Wednesday.

The Sanitation Department will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as they become available.
