Roswell Leaders Endorse Gingrich for Republican Nomination
Several local political leaders want Newt Gingrich to lead Republican ticket.
Five Roswell representatives have officially joined Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal in backing former Georgia Congressman Newt Gingrich for the Republican nomination for U.S. President, according to a recent press release.
They include Congressman Tom Price, Sen. John Albers, Rep. Harry Geisinger, Roswell Mayor Pro Tem Jerry Orlans and Councilwoman Becky Wynn.
Local Republicans will get a chance to vote for their Presidential candidate preference on Mar. 6, 2012.
