Roswell Neighborhood Improvement Meeting Set for Next Week

The meeting will be held Thursday, March 7.

Roswell and its new code enforcement company, SAFEbuilt, will hold a Neighborhood Improvement Team (NIT) meeting next week, Thursday, March 7.

The meeting will allow local residents to ask questions and present concerns to city staff directly. This month, the Roswell Fire Department will also make a presentation.

The NIT program was "designed to eliminate communication barriers between key city officials, community service organizations and citizens," according to a recent city press release. Each month the city will host a meeting in a different neighborhood throughout Roswell.

Not only will city representatives be able to assist residents through the program, but the forum also provides opportunities for community members and organizations to offer support to each other, says the city.

The next meeting takes place on March 7 at 6:30 p.m. at Roswell City Hall. For more information, contact Roswell Code Enforcement Supervisor Angie Shumate at 770-641-3957 or ashumate@roswellgov.com.
