Staff at North Fulton Hospital were able to restart the victim’s breathing and heartbeat.

"Had Officer Hood not come to his aid by providing medical care until the paramedics arrived, this man would have most likely died in his bedroom in front of his wife," the Roswell Police Department said in a press release. "Officer Hood’s allegiance to public safety reflects well upon himself, the Roswell Police Department and the city of Roswell."
