Roswell Performs Waterline Valve Maintenance

Be aware of waterline work going on in Roswell next week, April 17-29.

The City of Roswell will be performing maintenance on waterline valves along Highway 9 from Holcomb Bridge Road to Marietta Highway, as well as along Marietta Highway, Coleman Road, Pine Grove Road, Norcross Street, Canton Street and Grimes Bridge Road soon.

The work - which is being done to ensure that the waterline valves are adequately accessible, in proper working order and located correctly - will take place during the hours of 10 p.m.-6 a.m. from April 17 - April 29.

To minimize traffic congestion issues and create a safer work zone for employees, the necessary maintenance work is being done at night. Additionally, if a customer notices any changes in water color they should flush their cold water line, preferably at the front hose spigot for about 10 minutes or until the water clears up. If they continue to have problems, please contact the Water Utility to come out and flush the closest hydrant to help clear it up.
