Roswell Remembers on Memorial Day
The grounds of City Hall were filled with veterans, family members and other local residents in the biggest Memorial Day celebration in the state.
Thousands of area residents gathered at Roswell City Hall for the annual Roswell Remembers Memorial Day ceremony.
The guest speaker was Charles G. Shepherd, Jr., who served as a first lieutenant with the 121st Infantry Regiment, 8th Division in the European Theater from July 16, 1944 until the end of the Second World War in Europe.
