Roswell To Hold Property Tax Rate Hearing

Roswell plans to hold its millage rate for fiscal year 2015 at 5.455 mills.

The Roswell City Council tonight will hold a public hearing on its proposed millage rate for fiscal year 2015.

The hearing will get underway at 6:30 p.m. at Roswell City Hall.

The city is proposing to leave its millage rate of 5.455 mills in place. If approved, a homeowner whose home is valued around $258,000 would pay about $562.96 in property taxes.

After the hearing, the city will adjourn into executive session to discuss personnel and real estate.

Roswell City Hall is located at 38 Hill Street.
