Roswell Unveils Simme-Seat at MARTA Bus Stop

The city unveiled its first MARTA bus Simme-Seat near the intersection of Holcomb Bridge Road and Highway 9. The city said the two-seat bus stop appointment is low cost and will make bus ridership more attractive.

City officials unveiled the first MARTA bus stop Simme-Seat at a location near the corner of Holcomb Bridge Road and Highway 9 on Monday.

Roswell Director of Transportation Steve Acenbrak, Mayor Jere Wood and Roswell City Council members were on hand to see the dual seat that sits bolted to a cement pad. Acenbrak believes the Simme-Seat will make bus ridership more attractive because of the seat's neater, cleaner look.

The seats also make it clear who is waiting for the bus.
