Roswell Wants To Learn How to Prioritize Budget Needs

A Denver-based organization will hold a presentation on priority-based budgeting with the city of Roswell.

The Roswell City Council on Monday will welcome a Colorado-based group to discuss priority-based budgeting.

The council will hear the presentation during its work session, which will start at 5:30 p.m. at Roswell City hall.

Denver-based Center for Priority-Based Budgeting provides guidance to local governments and other entities on how to achieve fiscal health by ranking their priorities in order to make long-term, financially reasonable decisions.

After the work session, the council will hold its open forum for residents at 7 p.m. The forum allows residents to openly address the mayor and council with any questions or concerns they may have.
