Sen. Albers Supports State Charter School Amendment

In his weekly legislative address, the Republican from Roswell said the resolution has passed the House and now the Senate Education and Youth Committee.

Sen. John Albers, R-Roswell, who represents Roswell, parts of Sandy Springs, Alpharetta, Milton and Johns Creek, offers his legislative address on week seven of the current session.

He said the Senate passed a bill last week that extends the statute of limitations on crimes of a sexual nature against children.

The Senate Education and Youth Committee approved HR 1162, which sends the state charter school issue to the voters as an amendment to the state Constitution, something the Roswell Senator backs.
