The purpose of the meeting was to gather ideas and solutions for current issues impacting Georgia. Nearly 100 people showed up to voice their opinions, speak with the senators personally and listen in on what others had to say during the meeting.
The tour through Georgia Senate districts continues with meetings in Augusta and nearby Cherokee County this fall.
