Centennial Boys Eliminate North Forsyth in Region Tournament
Knights advance to take on West Forsyth in the second round.
With speed and swarming defense, the Centennial Knights boys basketball team overwhelmed North Forsyth in the first round of the GHSA Region 6AAAAA basketball tournament on Wednesday. At the end of the first quarter of play, the Knights led 25-7.
By the end of the first half, Centennial had opened a 25 point spread at 40-15.
The Knights controlled the tempo of the game throughout the second half, posting a 72-46 victory.
Centennial will play West Forsyth on Friday in the semi-final round of the tournament.
