As each student raised their hand, Jenkins tossed them a blue stress ball, and began his discussion on money. Students showed they understand the value of making and saving money for their payoffs, but Jenkins told them to take it a step further and find their passion and a way to achieve financial goals

Four representatives from Happy Tails, an organization dedicated to using pets as a method of therapy, arrived with two Labradors, a Swiss Mountain dog and a long-haired Chihuahua. Students were told about the positive effects animals can have on humans and how to become a part of Happy Tails.

In another classroom, students were listening to facts about the Coca-Cola brand from International Account Manager Victor I. Sanchez. He spoke about the global impact of Coke and answered questions about the soft drink. He also addressed the importance of following the vocational skills taught at The Cottage School. Sanchez said those skills apply to any career a student decides to pursue.
