Working spots and audit spots available. Working spots consist of a classroom portion and an instructor-led hands-on massage session. Audit spots cover the lecture portion only. We will cover basic anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and massage technique. In addition to the basic massage techniques, you will learn stress patterns and trigger points that are common in agility dogs.
Those who purchase a working spot will need to bring one dog for the massage (the dog must be well-behaved and well-socialized, as he will be in a room with several other people and dogs). In addition, we will be sitting on a hard floor for the hands-on massage session, so bring a blanket or large pillows or something comfortable on which you may sit comfortably and your dog may lie comfortably.
