High Meadow School Alumnus Creates Original Play

The unique play benefits "Project Mail Call."

With the goal in mind of producing the first-ever alumni play for his alma mater and raising money for a local charity, Alec Nash wrote, directed, and produced “Fowl Luck and Black Wings” for the High Meadows School community.

The cast of the play covered a 23-year age span of High Meadows graduates. Ticket sales to the play raised $600 for Project Mail Call, a Marietta-based charity that packs customized care packages for U.S. military personnel who serve in remote areas of Iraq and Afghanistan, or who provide humanitarian aid to schools, clinics, hospitals, orphanages or villages.

Cast members included High Meadows alumni currently enrolled at Roswell High School, Blessed Trinity High School, North Springs Charter High School, The Galloway School, Atlanta International School and Paideia School. Other cast members included a High Meadows Middle Years student and two High Meadows teachers, also alumni. The technical crew was composed of current High Meadows Middle Years students and teachers.
