Local Soccer Fundraiser to Help STAR House

Chattahoochee High School in North Fulton soccer will sponsor a 5K race and 1M fun run/walk March 23 on the Hooch track and cross-country trail to benefit Roswell's STAR House.

The 5K race will start at 9:30 a.m. and the 1-mile fun run/walk will begin at 10:30 a.m.

Entry fees range from $10 to $20 and include a T-shirt option. In addition to benefiting Hooch Soccer, a percentage of early registration net proceeds will be donated to the STAR House, which supports at-risk children in North Fulton by providing after-school tutoring, school supplies, leadership activities and recreational programs.

Ribbons will be given in the fun run/walk and awards will be presented in the 5K race for first, second and third-place finishers, male and female, in the following age groups: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, and 50 and up. Each participant will receive a race bib, goodie bag, chance to win a prize and a T-shirt (guaranteed only to those registered by March 9 and with a paid T-shirt option).
