Mountain Park Named Blue Ribbon School

It's the second time the Roswell Elementary has earned the designation.

For the second time, Roswell's Mountain Park Elementary School has been named a National Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education.

A total of 286 schools nationwide received the designation, which is made based on a school's overall academic excellence or progress in improving academic achievement.

Mountain Park was recognized as an “Exemplary High Performing” school. Seven other schools in Georgia earned Blue Ribbon status, and Mountain Park was the only school from the Fulton County School System
