RHS Band Needs You to Vote - for Them!

The band has entered a contest that could win them $15,000 if they get the most votes.

Roswell High School band has entered a nationwide contest sponsored by Rackroom.com to win $15,000 for their program.

Contestants had to submit a performance of any one of five pre-determined holiday songs. The RHS Wind Ensemble submitted a video recording of their December winter concert performance of “Deck the Halls." Voting will continue through Jan. 11, 2013 at 9 p.m.

"There is a limit of one vote per person per day and we are hoping that the community can come together and give us a boost," says Glen Soafer, the RHS Band Booster president. "$15,000 can go a long way toward improving the program for our hard working and talented students."

The four contestants that receive the most votes will each receive the $15,000 grand prize. Follow this link to the voting site.

Appears that you can only vote using Facebook. Is there a way for folks not utilizing Facebook to vote?
