Roswell Area Students Take Top Placements at Fulton Tech Fair

First places students will now move on to the state competition in March.

Roswell area students showed their brilliance as some of the highest placing students at last weekend's 11th Annual Fulton Technology Fair.

The fair encourages students to hone their technical and creative skills.

Nineteen students from Roswell area schools took top honors in everything from digital photography to robotics at the competition, held Saturday, Jan. 28, at Riverwood High School in Sandy Springs.

The area winners, listed below, will move on to the state competition in Macon, Mar. 10.

  • David Reynolds, Fulton Sunshine Academy, first place in 3D Modeling for 3rd-4th grades
  • Cooper Vance, Fulton Sunshine Academy, first place in Case Modification for 5th-6th grades
  • Shannon Carney, Fulton Sunshine Academy, second place in Case Modification for 5th-6th grades
  • Raven Galfas, Fulton Sunshine Academy, second place in Case Modification for 5th-6th grades
  • Dylan Fawley, , first place in Digital Photography for 3rd-4th grade
  • Owen Carney, Fulton Sunshine Academy, second place in Digital Photography for 3rd-4th grade
  • Brenda Hernandez, , second place in Digital Photography for 5th-6th grades
  • Dennis Stevens, , second place in Digital Photography for 9th-10th grades
  • Rachel Grant, , second place in Digital Video Editing for 7th-8th grades
  • Zachary Hosseini-Arani, , first place in Digital Video Editing for 9th-10th grades
  • Oliver Niu, , first place in Internet Applications for 5th-6th grades
  • Viha Umashankar , first place in Multimedia Applications for 3rd grade
  • Sarah Halliday, , first place in Multimedia Application for 8th grade
