Roswell Boys Lose to Milton in Region 6AAAAA Semifinal
Will play West Forsyth in consolation game.
The Roswell Hornets lost to the Milton Eagles, 68-35, in their semifinal game in the boys Region 6AAAAA basketball tournament on Friday. It was their third loss to the Eagles this season.
Milton entered the tournament as the No. 1 seed and ranked No. 1 in the state. With their trademark speed and quickness intact, the Eagles controlled the game from the outset. At the end of the first period, Milton led 17-6.
Milton increased their lead to 31-15 at halftime and continued to build their advantage through the second half.
Roswell will play West Forsyth in the consolation game on Saturday. Milton will take on Centennial in the Region 6AAAAA championship game.
