Roswell Business to Donate $1 to Roswell High School for Every Facebook 'Like'

Newly opened SmartCare Urgent Care is hoping to boost their local Facebook presence with the campaign.

Roswell's newest urgent care facility is hoping to expand their social media presence locally - and they're willing to pay for it.

SmartCare Urgent Care clinic, which opened in Roswell during mid-February, will donate $1 to Roswell High School (RHS) for every new "Like" on their SmartCare Urgent Care Facebook page, beginning Monday, March 4 at 10 a.m. through Thursday, March 7 at 4 p.m.

The business has close ties with the school considering SmartCare's Chief Medical Officer Dr. Kavita Kotte is an RHS alum. But the idea to donate to the school came after a member of the basketball team asked SmartCare for a sponsorship.

"We thought we would go beyond a simple sponsorship and make a donation to the whole school to give back to the community," SmartCare Spokesperson Shivangi Patel told Roswell Patch.

Donations from the campaign will be used throughout the school.

Simply "Like" the Facebook page and RHS will get a donation. It's that easy, say campaign organizers.
