Roswell High School Bands Compete in Cruise Festival
Students will receive final competition ratings in June.
The recently participated in a four-day cruise festival at sea.
The band sailed on the Royal Caribbean ship “Monarch of the Seas” to the port of Nassau and CocoCay in the Bahamas. While on board, the Concert Band and Guard units were each judged. Both units received the highest ratings possible. Several band sections and soloists were also recognized with superior performance awards.
Band members also enjoyed touring the islands, snorkeling, shopping and experiencing the ship.

The Band and Guard will receive final competitive ratings in June comparing them to all bands sailing on cruise festivals this year.
